What
is the criteria for a commission piece?
Ideally we work from drawings or images submitted to us so
we can fully understand and meet your specific needs,
however we understand that this is not always possible.
Sometimes time restraints don’t allow for full product
designs or in depth studies outside of just an idea or
concept. As a result we’re happy to speak with you on a
one-on-one basis to help fully understand and grasp the
concept desired. At that point, once we’re both comfortable
with the direction needed to bring your concept to life
we’re ready to start.
Whatever your needs are in the entertainment world simply
contact us for a quote. We don’t have any minimum fees for
commission pieces and will consider any and all projects
sent our way.
What is your garment
production capacity?
We really don’t have any limits to quantity with our
garments. Be it leather or textiles. We have very solid
collaborations with some of the most respected and
professional production facilities all over the world. If
dealing with a new item then there is the possibility of
minimum quantities to meet for production, but those
minimums are always within reason. Our capacity is well over
500 pieces in a 6-8 week turnaround time if needed. The
production time is calculated only after the prototype is
approved and accepted by the client.
In the case where sculpture work and cast forms are
necessary, then this needs to be discussed in person and
production capacities and timeframes can be calculated based
on the scope of the project.
Is it
possible for you to only make the working prototype or
ORIGINAL SCULPTURE for production elsewhere?
Yes. We are happy to discuss any prototype work with you be
it as a prop or working costume with the understanding that
future production would be handled elsewhere. This can be
in the form of hand props, masks or strap on body parts
meant to be cast up in any form of rubber necessary. Once
the prototype is complete and approved by you then the molds
would be turned over to you for your production. This
ability is not extended to any wardrobe, garment, textile or
leather prototypes.
Is
it possible for you to only make the GARMENT prototype
with the understanding that production will go
elsewhere?
Typically no. While we are happy to do so with our sculpture
work, it is just not feasible with garments. We will invest
time and money into developing your prototype garment but
the understanding is that all those efforts will go towards
us producing your run of the garment/s in question. We
understand that our ability to work with inner core foam
structures as seen in some of our leather garments is quite
vast, but we do not invest in prototype work unless we’ll be
involved in the production of said prototypes ourselves.
Making just the prototype is extremely expensive. We balance
our prototype costs within the production of said goods. Our
production costs are very competitive and we keep them as
such to make it easy for you to have everything taken care
of by one group. From the prototype to the finished
garments. If you’re interested in quote for a specific
garment you need produced, we will be happy to discuss all
related costs and timeframes associated to your design.
We’ll make it worth your while to have us take care of
everything. Starting from your designs to the working
prototype, and finally to the finished goods shipped to your
location/s.
Can you do promotional
garments with our logo?
Yes. We can work with different materials and create simple
(or complex) garments to showcase your company logo
accordingly. We can have your logo embroidered onto
strategic areas of your garment and are able to have these
garments made in numerous materials from textiles to
leathers. Simply contact us for a quote and please supply
your company logo as desired on the garment.
Is
it
possible to rent any costumes or props seen here?
No, we do not rent out anything because what’s showcased
here is our portfolio or body of work. We are not equipped
to handle items being rented out that require regular
maintenance, cleaning or repair from possible misuse. We do
not offer rental services of any kind.
Can I obtain some of your
older/newer garment patterns for my own use?
Although some items in our wardrobe section have gone
through numerous upgrades in our quest for accuracy, we
still do not make any of our patterns available in any
way shape or form. An incredible amount of
research and expense goes into every single custom
garment we do. From an accessory to a full suit.
Prototypes, test fittings, testing textiles and
leathers. Nothing is improvised
and as a result we cannot share, advise or sell any of these
patterns. We are happy to entertain any custom garments you
may need produced but anything we’ve created remains part of
our portfolio as a testament to our progress in bringing
that given item to life.
What is available to the
general public?
Everything we do is on a commission basis although some
pieces are items that can be readily available upon
request. We don’t however offer everything you see
displayed. Some of the pieces shown here are simply works
to showcase our ability to bring a given design to life and
not meant for sale, in whole, part or as a private
commission. Private commissions remain just that and are
items made specifically for the client in question. Feel
free to contact us if you have any questions regarding your
own commission or some of the items shown here, but we
reserve the right to decline any and all orders at our
discretion.
Why display replicas?
Most times, a custom or an original piece is not as easily
related to as an image or character that’s already part of
our everyday ‘pop culture’. Showing replicas allows for us
to demonstrate our abilities in the given medium, be it
Sculpture, Paint and finishing work or Garment recreation.
Displaying replicas gives you the chance to immediately
compare our work to the originals and readily shows our
level of accuracy. Some of our original works are custom
spin-offs of other characters but again, all is done with
the intent to showcase our ability to effectively bring a
concept to reality.
Our goal is to enter the entertainment industry and focus
completely on custom works but in order for our abilities to
be understood, replicas offer a quick basis for comparison
by most anyone looking to understand our level of accuracy.
