By this point the deadline was less than 24 hours away. 

TV Show Replica Costume 

Based on the TV show The FLASH from the early ‘90’s.  It has a fantastic look about it.  Believable when seen but didn't look like a suit of armor yet it wasn't spandex.  To add to the overall appearance of this suit the entire costume was flocked a dull red/burgundy. A beautiful effect.  I fell in love with this costume the first time I saw it on the TV show.  It was new, cool and bright.  Here’s how we brought ours to life….

This costume was started on a Tuesday and needed to be done by the Friday morning 5:00AM at the latest of that SAME week.  3 days.  We worked around the clock to see it done in time.

Here we begin the flocking process.  The entire suit consisting of cowl, chest, legs and gloves that will all be entirely flocked.  Flocking gives the impression of an item made from suede or coated in some kind of fuzzy material.  It’s a very interesting effect and a great technique.
